The only Awards in the UK dedicated to that unsung hero of Marketing, Media and Communications – the freelancer. Following the success of last year, 2012 will see the event’s eighth year and one that promises to be our most successful yet! Freelancers too often go unrecognised for the sterling work they do, overlooked as fellow team members bask in the glory of a successful campaign. For this reason Xchangeteam created the Awards in 2003 – so that the very best could be showcased and celebrated and their contribution recognised. Our South West office now has been running for 3 years and has built a strong network within our specialised sector in this region. This year we have decided to launch a completely separate Freelancer of the Year for our South West region too. An eminent array of judges from the marketing, media and communications community will select six category winners and one overall winner. The award ceremonies will be held in London in March and Bristol in February 2012.
